Data Collection

The Directory is comprised of four main filters – organization type, key priorities, population served, and equity deserving communities. The key priority and population served filters are coded based on the first two levels of Candid’s Philanthropy Classification System (PCS) subjects hierarchy. Calgary Foundation carefully reviews your selections in line with your organization’s mandate, as such, selections may be revised. You may choose to skip this section and Calgary Foundation will confirm the Philanthropy Classification System subjects hierarchy on your behalf.

Please note that the PCS subjects hierarchy is for internal use only and will not be publicly available.

If you notice a selection has been revised and wish for further clarification, please contact us.
